Welcome to the online home for the writing of Prolix Kant aka Sarah Stahl aka any other self I may be cosplaying at the moment. I'm using this website to conglomerate all my creative imaginings from this one crackhead under one masthead, or whatever.

Why the name Prolix Kant? you might be wondering? For one thing, I had a partner who used to tell me to shut my "word cunt" every time I tried to have an opinon. I told him about how I think of my mouth as a word cunt from which beautiful phrases are birthed, but he turned it into something ugly and hurtful. I wanted to revive that feeling of birthing lyric flights of fancy from my mouth, but I have been learning that calling yourself a word cunt on the internet attracts a different sort of demographic than the intellectuals I want to take me seriously. So I have started calling myself Prolix Kant.
